Hannah Pollack represents individuals and corporations in criminal defense and complex commercial litigation matters, as well as government investigations. She has experience litigating a variety of matters including wire fraud, money laundering, internet crimes, police misconduct, breach of contract, defamation, and unfair competition. Hannah has also represented clients in investigations by various government agencies including the DOJ and SEC.
Representative matters include:
- Defended through trial several online travel agencies in a computer fraud and abuse case against an airline.
- Counsel for a startup founder and CEO in a federal wire fraud case.
- Won favorable settlement for a Louisiana citizen who had been harassed by a sheriff’s deputy.
- Represented a collegiate athletic conference in antitrust class action.
- Successfully appealed district court’s order dismissing case alleging constitutional violations at the U.S. border against Muslim U.S. citizens.
- Defended hospital and providers in medical malpractice case brought by anti-trans activists.
Before joining Swanson & McNamara, Hannah was a litigation associate at Cooley LLP, where her practice focused on white collar criminal defense, government investigations, and complex commercial litigation. Prior to Cooley, Hannah served as a law clerk to the Hon. Chief Judge Philip S. Gutierrez of the United States District Court for the Central District of California.
